Cementitious Tile Adhesive
Also known as ceramic tile adhesive / ceramic tile bonding mortar, this adhesive is primarily used for bonding decorative materials such as ceramic tiles, facing tiles, and floor tiles. It is widely used in interior and exterior walls, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other building finishes. Its key features include high bond strength, excellent water resistance, frost resistance, and aging resistance, along with ease of application, making it an ideal cementitious tile adhesive for modern thin-bed tile installation systems and building envelope finishing applications.
It is suitable for bonding indoor and outdoor ceramic wall and floor tiles, ceramic mosaics, and for waterproofing interior and exterior walls, pools, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and other structures. For bonding ceramic tiles to the sheathing layer of external insulation systems, the sheathing layer must be cured to a certain degree. The base surface should be dry, firm, flat, and free of oil, dust, and release agents.
This system is widely used in professional construction projects requiring stable adhesion performance under temperature variation, moisture exposure, and structural movement conditions.
Mix the powder into clean water and stir until it forms a paste. Add the water first, then the powder. Use a manual or electric mixer. The mixing ratio is 25 kg of powder to approximately 6-6.5 kg of water. This cement-based tile glue system is a polymer-modified dry-mix formulation designed for consistent workability and stable rheology in construction site conditions. If necessary, use our tile additive in place of water at a ratio of 25 kg of powder to approximately 6.5-7.5 kg of additive. Stir thoroughly until there are no lumps. After stirring, let the mixture sit for approximately ten minutes, then stir briefly before use. Depending on weather conditions, use the mortar within approximately two hours (discard any crust on the surface). Never add water to dried-out mortar.
Construction process of cement-based tile glue
As a thin-bed ceramic tile bonding mortar system, it ensures uniform adhesive distribution and improved substrate contact efficiency during installation.
Use a toothed scraper to apply the glue on the work surface, distribute it evenly, and form a series of teeth (adjust the angle between the scraper and the work surface to control the thickness of the glue). Apply about 1 square meter each time (depending on the weather and temperature, the construction temperature range is 5-40℃), then press the tile on it within 5-15 minutes (adjustment needs to be done within 20-25 minutes); the size of the toothed scraper should be selected considering the flatness of the working surface and the degree of unevenness on the back of the tile; if the groove on the back of the tile is deep or the stone or tile is large and heavy, double-sided glue should be applied, that is, glue should be applied on the working surface and the back of the tile at the same time; pay attention to retaining the expansion joint; after tiling, the next step of caulking can be carried out only after the glue is completely dried (about 24 hours); clean the tile surface (and tools) with a wet cloth or sponge before it dries. If the curing time exceeds 24 hours, the stains on the tile surface can be cleaned with a tile and stone cleaner.

The construction wall should be moist (wet outside and dry inside) and maintain a certain degree of flatness. Cement mortar and other materials should be used to level highly uneven or extremely rough parts; the base must be cleaned of floating dust, oil, and wax to avoid affecting the adhesion; after pasting the tiles, they can be moved and corrected within 5-15 minutes. The mixed adhesive should be used up at the fastest speed, and the mixed adhesive should be applied to the back of the pasted brick material, and then pressed hard until it is flat. The actual consumption varies depending on the material.
Precautions
1. The verticality and flatness of the substrate must be confirmed first.
2. Remember to mix the dried glue with water before use.
3. Step in or fill the seams 24 hours after paving.
4. This product is suitable for use in an environment of 5C-40℃.
